We are proud to announce that Marcie Wiseman, Ph.D., psychology resident has joined our practice under the supervision of Ernest J. Bordini. Ph.D., licensed psychologist. Appointments are available in our Ocala or Gainesville offices. We have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPC, PPO and Blue Choice providers. Major credit cards are also accepted.
Dr. Wiseman provides adult and adolescent psychotherapy and counseling for depression, anxiety and a variety of adjustment issues. She received her doctoral training at the University of Florida Counseling Psychology Department and completed her internship at the University of Ohio in Akron. Special areas of interest are career counseling, women's issues, social anxiety disorder, body image concerns, eating disorders, and LGBT issues.
Clinical Psychology Associates of North Central Florida also offers a variety of psychological evaluation services to the Ocala Florida, Marion County, and surrounding communities.
Our offices have more than twenty years of experience provinding learning disability evaluations, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder evaluation and more general neuropsychological evaluations to children, adolescents and adults. We can perform testing required for testing accomodations required for SATs, GRE's, MSAT, and other national examinations. We also offer forensic neuropsychological evaluations for plaintiff or defense requested independent medical examinations and have providers that have qualified as experts in national and federal courts.
Psychological evaluations are available for IQ testing (intelligence testing and learning disability testing is usually not covered by insurance), personality assessment, chronic pain, pre-surgical evaluations for bariatric surgery, deep brain stimulation and other conditions, post-traumatic stress disorder, Aspergers Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders and other conditions.
We have offered pediatric neuropsychology services to the Ocala and Gainesville communities and hospitals for over 20 years.
